WCWA Dream Reuion 2

Source: Deric Blaze

WCWA Dream Reunion Featuring Major Superstars of Pro-Wrestling
at The Johanning Civic Center, located at 1500 N. Reed Rd.

It was a night where champions were crowned, alliances crumbled and legends claimed their spot. World Championship Wrestling Of America made the leap into the future of professional wrestling on October 7, 2006 with their very first Dream Reunion: Night Of The Legends. Held at the Johanning Civic Center in Kokomo, Indiana, it was a night so unforgettable. And on October 6, 2007, it will all happen again. Witness the magic and the mayhem of World Championship Wrestling Of America when WCWA makes its return to the Johanning Civic Center with another superstar filled unforgettable night.

With all the beautiful ladies scheduled to appear at Dream Reunion, it only makes sense to have the vacated WCWA Women's Championship on the line for the first time in over a year. The title will be on the line when the women compete in WCWA's first-ever "Diva's Battle Royal". With the likes of Daffney, Jazz, Josie, ODB and many more, it is a mystery on who will win this title match.

For the third time in WCWA history, Shark Boy and Justin Dean will lock up, but this in a mixed tag team match. Shark Boy and the newcomer Shark Girl will take on Justin Dean and former WWE Hardcore Champion Bobcat. Everytime Shark Boy and Justin Dean met in the ring, it is match of the night. You don't want to miss this one.

At Wrestlefestival 4, The Main Event retained the WCWA Tag Team Championships in a very controversial way. The WCWA Board decided to strip them of the Tag Team Titles. At Dream Reunion, new champions will be crowned when a Tag Team Fatal Four Way Match takes place. Three teams have been announced; Superstar Bill Dundee and Hank Calhoun, The Inner Circle, and The Hollywood Studs. A fourth team will be announced at a later date before the show.

For the first time in WCWA History, the United States Champion and the Indiana State Champion will team up together when J.H. Hogg and Kidd Dynamite take on Pat Tanaka and a tag team partner to be announced at a later date.

In a match that has history dating back to 1984, the Rock N Roll Express take on long time rivals The Midnight Express. These two teams are considered the best in the business and every time they face each other, its a classic. These two teams will step in the ring again with pride and respect on the line.

WWE Monday Night Raw's Commentator and Memphis Wrestling Legend, Jerry "The King" Lawler, making one of his rare independent wrestling appearances.

The Reunion of the Legendary Tag Teams as Scott Norton and Vincent come together as the nWo while Jimmy Hart reunites Brian Knobbs and Jerry Saggs as The Nasty Boys.

Superstars and Legends To Appear:
The Super Hero In Training Rosey, Wrestling's Greatest Manager Jimmy The Mouth Of The South Hart, The Genius, The Perfect 10 Baby Doll, Former WWE Tag Team Champion Brian "Grandmasta Sexay" Christopher, The Inspirational Zack Gowan, Former WWE Hardcore Champion Bobcat, The Scream Queen Daffney, Marty Jannetty of The Rockers, Pat Tanaka from The Orient Express, TNA's Shark Boy and many more legends and superstars to be announced.

And of course the WCWA Superstars:
Travis Southern, Big Daddy Dean, Hank Calhoun, Troy Miller with Miss Melonie, Hell's Wrath with The Warlock, Xavier Xross and Lawrence Poffo (The Hollywood Studs), Dirty Don DeMarco, Justin Dean, The White Boy and Jason Automatic (The Main Event), J.H. Hogg, Jimmy and Johnny Vegas (The Vegas Connection), The Man in Black, and Mr. DeMarco's Bodyguard Brutus Dylan

SCW 9/8 Report, WCCW 9/7 Report

Source: WRESTLEVIEW.COM

Tonight (September 8) Micheal Moore and Jeff Styles did a tremendous job announcing the action of Southeastern Championship Wrestling. I offer my apologies to Micheal Moore for not remembering his name before.

Neil Taylor & Chris Rocker interrupted the opening of the show to state that they'd been to see management earlier in the day, and that participating in a Lumberjack Strap Match wasn't in their contract. Announcer Jeff Styles made sure both understood that if they didn't take part in the match later in the evening, they would both be suspended from Southeastern Championship Wrestling. After some discussion between the two, Chris Rocker announced that each person would have to pay $5 to become a lumberjack. This brought out The Posse, who agreed to front $3 for everyone wishing to be a lumberjack for the evening, leaving the audience to pay the remaining $2. It was announced that there were 20 lumberjack position available to the audience, the majority of which were quickly taken.

Eric Jones defeated "Tuscaloosa's Own" One Man Kru
The match ended when Eric Jones used brass knuckles against One Man Kru.

One Man Kru left apologizing to Tuscaloosa, but I haven't a doubt that we haven't seen the last of One Man Kru in Tuscaloosa, or the wrestling world.

"The Rajun Cajun" Lash LeRoux defeated Bulldog Raines
With the Cajun-weight Championship around his waist "The Rajun Cajun" Lash LeRoux strutted to the ring. The Championship on the line Bulldog Ranies gave Lash LeRoux everything he had, "The Rajun Cajun" rebounded with a nipple twister. It was great seeing "The Rajun Cajun" Lash LeRoux, having not seen him seen WCW closed.

No Disqualification Match
Bob "The Bullet" Armstrong/Brad Armstrong defeated Fire & Flame with "Hollywood" Jimmy.

Fire & Flame did another great job of drawing heat from those in attendance. Everything Hollywood Jimmy is present, you can bet the crowd with be in a frenzy. One of the greatest matches on the card. Fire & Flame fell to the two wrestling legends when the cane of "Hollywood" Jimmy was stolen by Bob "The Bullet" Armstrong who used it to put their opponents down for the 3-count. After the match "Hollywood" Jimmy was pants-ed by, leaving him no choice but to run to the locker room, with the tighty whiteys on display.

Reno Diamond/ "The Exotic" Adrian Street with Miss Linda defeated
Jack Lord/Balock The Blazer

My applause goes to Reno Diamond for showing respect to all veterans of the business throughout that night. After suffering defeats last night Jack Lord/Balock The Blazer teamed to hopefully have their hands raised. "The Exotic" Adrian Street was in form again, instantly getting into the minds of the opposition. With a dive over the top rope by Reno Diamond took out Balock The Blazer allowing "The Exotic" Adrian Street to take the win.

Jeff Styles helped pass the word to all those in attendance about an upcoming Rampage show. The show has been graciously reported by WrestleView.com here...... http://www.wrestleview.com/news2006/1189139075.shtml

"Hollywood" Jimmy & John Steele made their way to the ring, running down "Buff" Bagwell. John Steele trashed talked the crowd, bringing out "Buff" Bagwell. "Buff" Bagwell stated that the audience had seen him on the television many time; however, John Steele had never been on television.

Losers Eats Dog Food Match
Women's Championship
Bambi defeated Peggy Lee Leather

As always these two were very entertaining to watch, a classic women's match. Throughout the match Peggy Lee Leather tried to cheat her way to victory, but the crowd refused to let her get away with it. After the match Peggy Lee Leather stated the stipulation was that if Bambi lost she had to eat dog food, and that just because she lost, she wasn't eating anything. Tired of talking, Bambi lay-ed out Peggy Lee Leather and promptly forced her to eat the can of dog food.

Jeff Styles instructed the audience members who would be the lumberjacks the rules of the contest. They aren't allowed the strap the wrestlers until the opening bell, only allowed to strap the wrestlers below the waistline, must strap all four wrestlers once both feet touch the floor, and aren't allowed to strap after the closing bell.

Lumberjack Strap Match

The Posse defeated Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor
Chris Rocker & Neil Taylor both came to the ring with towels shoved down the back of their tights, infuriating the crowd. Everything Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor hit the floor, they ran the ring side in a desperate attempt to get away from the lumberjacks. The lumberjacks also strapped The Posse, though not as hard as Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor.

Jeff Styles announced that Southeastern Championship Wrestling will be putting on a show September 15th in Florance, Alabama at the Florance Coliseum. I hope to have more information soon.

"Buff" Bagwell defeated John Steele with "Hollywood" Jimmy
After a tough back and forth contest "Buff" Bagwell picked up the victory, much to the dismay of "Hollywood" Jimmy.

Once again, Southeastern Championship Wrestling put on a great show. I urge any wrestling fan in the area to come out and see Southeastern Championship Wrestling and the likes of Reno Diamond, The Posse, John Steele...and many more, you never know why will appear at the next show.

WCCW Results... Beefcake Instead of Valentine!
09-07-07

WCCW: Chaos at Crystal Beach
Ridgeway
Crystal Beach Community Center
Attendance 80+
Ring Announcer: Joey the Bruiser
Referees: Bruce Davis, Al Scott

The show opened with WCCW CEO Schwartz welcoming fans and stating he had an announcement to make regarding advertised star Greg Valentine that involved “good news & bad news.” Swartz was interrupted by the arrival of Club Carnage; Blackjack Phoenix, Lance Malibu, Quinson Valentino and manager Xavier Sterling.

Blackjack grabbed the North American Heavyweight Championship belt from Schwartz and put it on claiming he was the champ. Schwartz informed fans that Phoenix was indeed the new champion by default because Greg Valentine was “injured in training” and unable to defend the belt at the show.

Club Carnage celebrated Blackjack’s “win” but Schwartz cut the party short by telling them that Valentine had sent a replacement and Phoenix would have to defend the title against him. Fans erupted in cheers when Brutus the Barber Beefcake made his way to the ring. Phoenix & company bailed while Beefcake promised to “kick some ass.”

1) “The Italian Bull” Dino Szili & Pascali Szili w/ Xavier Sterling def Eric Alexander & Cousin Cletus.
Quinson Valentino & Lance Malibu came to ringside late in the match and lured Cousin Cletus to the back with a bag of McDonalds take-out, leaving Alexander to take the fall against the Szili clan.

2) “Retro” Rex Atkins def Rip Impact
Atkins was announced as being from “right here in Ridgeway” while Impact was from Quebec. A good sporting match that began and ended with a handshake.

3) Handicap Match:
The Unholy Ryot w/ Damian def Shawn McMillan & I B Green
After the match some guy ran to the ring and attacked Ryot. He started showboating to fans which gave the Unholy One time to rise and nail him with a chokeslam. (Apparently, the guy’s name was Dillon Duncan or something like that.)

4) Canadian Junior Heavyweight Cup Semi-Final Match:
Jimmy Jam Olsen def Chris Sabin
Match of the Night! Simply awesome stuff from both guys.

5) Crystal Ridge Tornado Tag Match:
Brodie Lee & Quinson Valentino def Chris Laplante & Lance Malibu
This match was supposed to be Lance Malibu & Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling vs Brodie Lee & Chris Laplante with the winning team having to immediately wrestle each other in a #1 Contender Match but CEO Schwartz came to the ring & said he had the power to make the things more interesting. He switched up the teams, pairing Laplante with Malibu & Brodie Lee with Valentino. No one but the fans seemed happy about the change. Malibu basically sold his “partner” Laplante down the river giving Valentino & Brodie the win.

6) #1 Contender to North American Heavyweight Title:
Brodie Lee def Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling

7) North American Heavyweight Championship Match:
Blackjack Phoenix w/ Xavier Sterling def Brutus the Barber Beefcake by DQ to retain the title.
The ref got squashed late in the match and Phoenix pulled out a foreign object. Beefcake took it away from him but the Xavier roused the official in time to see him with it. Beefcake was disqualified immediately so he nailed Blackjack with the object anyway. Both Phoenix and Sterling got a trim from the Barber. (By the way, Beefcake looked great and wrestled a good match.)

SCW 9/7 Report, Chaotic Title, RXW

Source: WRESTLEVIEW.COM

Southeastern Championship Wrestling
Result 9/7/2007

Reno Diamond defeated Blalock The Blazer.

John Steele defeated Jack Lord.

Bambi defeated Peggy Lee Leather.
The match was announced as a Women's Championship Match; however, before the match got under way, Peggy Lee Leather stated she didn't agree to a title match, and the championship wasn't on the line. Bambi went on to challenge for the Women's Championship tomorrow night. Peggy Lee Leather accepted on the stipulation that if Bambi loses she'll be forced to eat dog food in the center of the ring.

SCW Heavyweight Champion "Playboy" Pat Pantera was escorted to the ring by "Hollywood" Jimmy. "Playboy" Pat Pantera made some comments about "Buff" Bagwell being the reason that WCW went out of business, and that if "Buff" Bagwell was under contract to WWE he would be one of the many on the suspension list for illegal prescriptions. This, of course, brought out "Buff" Bagwell. Who gathered all the kids in the arena around him. After stating "we can do this right now" "Buff" Bagwell sent the kids in the ring after "Playboy" Pat Pantera, who made a quick exit.

During intermission, "Buff" Bagwell posed for pictures and gave a speech about not forgetting where you came from and being honored to be asked for autographs, and never turning one down.

Fire & Flame with "Hollywood" Jimmy defeated Bob "Bullet" Armstrong & Brad Armstrong
The match ended when "Hollywood" struck Bob "Bullet" Armstrong in the back with a cane allowing the pin-fall. This lead Bob "Bullet" Armstrong to challenge Fire & Flame to a No Disqualification Match tomorrow night, where he promises to embarrass "Hollywood" Jimmy.

"The Exotic" Adrian Street with Miss Linda defeated Bull Buchanan.

Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor defeated The Posse.
The match ended in a Double Disqualification when the referee lost control and members of both teams attacked the referee. The Posse challenged Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor to a Lumberjack Strap Match tomorrow night. What makes this match interesting is that it's the fans that will be the lumberjacks. Apparently everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to purchases belts during tomorrow night's show.

SCW Heavyweight Champion "Playboy" Pat Pantera with "Hollywood" Jimmy
defeated "Buff" Bagwell.
The match ended when "Hollywood" Jimmy struck "Buff" Bagwell in the back with a cane, leading to the pin-fall. This lead to a double team on "Buff" Bagwell, until John Steele made the save, only to turn on "Buff" Bagwell leading to a triple team. This set up tomorrow night's main event of "Buff" Bagwell against John Steele.

Interesting note...my cousin Stephanie was asked how to get to Bower's Park, where the show was taking place by none other than "The Exotic" Adrian Street.

With an asking price of $10 per ticket, Southeastern Championship Wrestling put on a show that was well worth the price of admission. Reno Diamond is a youngster with the talent and charisma to put on a great show. John Steele, is a great showman, and knows his role as a towering powerhouse. Peggy Lee Leather versus Bambi has been a stable of small time Southern wrestling for as long as I can remember, and these two are still just as entertaining and exciting to watch as when I first saw them. Fire & Flame did a good job of drawing heat from the crowd. By then end of the night the crowd hated "Hollywood" Jimmy, and for good reason. "The Exotic" Adrian Street and Bull Buchanan match was one of the best of the card, with both on top of their game this evening. The Posse (Simon Reed/Lil' Chris) proved to be a great tag team, who the crowd loved instantly. Their gimmick is a cross between heavy metal and skateboarders. It shows that they've really put some thought and effort into themselves. They worked well together, and these two can only get better. I would suggest that anyone running a small show in the Southern area look into booking these two for all future shows. There were two announcers, but I can only remember the name of one, Jeff Styles. Both announcers did a great job of announcing the show and hyping tomorrow night as well as the wrestlers appearing.

If Southeastern Championship Wrestling appears near you, buy a ticket, the price won't set you back, and you can rest assured you'll get your money's worth.

Bryan Logan defeated Brian Miloanas in front of Logan's hometown crowd at Lowell, MA's Polish American Veterans Club to win the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. A full rundown of the show results will be forthcoming.

The #1 wrestling promotion company of Panamá RXW (Revolution Extreme Wrestling) have notice that the former WCW, WWE Intercontinental Champion Billy Kidman will return to Panamá on September 29. Other impact news is that Kidman have a Panamenian girlfriend and he want to leave in Panamá to stay more time with her, So the RXW announcement that is very possible that Kidman will be part of the oficial roster of this wrestling Company.
