SCW 9/8 Report, WCCW 9/7 Report

Source: WRESTLEVIEW.COM

Tonight (September 8) Micheal Moore and Jeff Styles did a tremendous job announcing the action of Southeastern Championship Wrestling. I offer my apologies to Micheal Moore for not remembering his name before.

Neil Taylor & Chris Rocker interrupted the opening of the show to state that they'd been to see management earlier in the day, and that participating in a Lumberjack Strap Match wasn't in their contract. Announcer Jeff Styles made sure both understood that if they didn't take part in the match later in the evening, they would both be suspended from Southeastern Championship Wrestling. After some discussion between the two, Chris Rocker announced that each person would have to pay $5 to become a lumberjack. This brought out The Posse, who agreed to front $3 for everyone wishing to be a lumberjack for the evening, leaving the audience to pay the remaining $2. It was announced that there were 20 lumberjack position available to the audience, the majority of which were quickly taken.

Eric Jones defeated "Tuscaloosa's Own" One Man Kru
The match ended when Eric Jones used brass knuckles against One Man Kru.

One Man Kru left apologizing to Tuscaloosa, but I haven't a doubt that we haven't seen the last of One Man Kru in Tuscaloosa, or the wrestling world.

"The Rajun Cajun" Lash LeRoux defeated Bulldog Raines
With the Cajun-weight Championship around his waist "The Rajun Cajun" Lash LeRoux strutted to the ring. The Championship on the line Bulldog Ranies gave Lash LeRoux everything he had, "The Rajun Cajun" rebounded with a nipple twister. It was great seeing "The Rajun Cajun" Lash LeRoux, having not seen him seen WCW closed.

No Disqualification Match
Bob "The Bullet" Armstrong/Brad Armstrong defeated Fire & Flame with "Hollywood" Jimmy.

Fire & Flame did another great job of drawing heat from those in attendance. Everything Hollywood Jimmy is present, you can bet the crowd with be in a frenzy. One of the greatest matches on the card. Fire & Flame fell to the two wrestling legends when the cane of "Hollywood" Jimmy was stolen by Bob "The Bullet" Armstrong who used it to put their opponents down for the 3-count. After the match "Hollywood" Jimmy was pants-ed by, leaving him no choice but to run to the locker room, with the tighty whiteys on display.

Reno Diamond/ "The Exotic" Adrian Street with Miss Linda defeated
Jack Lord/Balock The Blazer

My applause goes to Reno Diamond for showing respect to all veterans of the business throughout that night. After suffering defeats last night Jack Lord/Balock The Blazer teamed to hopefully have their hands raised. "The Exotic" Adrian Street was in form again, instantly getting into the minds of the opposition. With a dive over the top rope by Reno Diamond took out Balock The Blazer allowing "The Exotic" Adrian Street to take the win.

Jeff Styles helped pass the word to all those in attendance about an upcoming Rampage show. The show has been graciously reported by WrestleView.com here...... http://www.wrestleview.com/news2006/1189139075.shtml

"Hollywood" Jimmy & John Steele made their way to the ring, running down "Buff" Bagwell. John Steele trashed talked the crowd, bringing out "Buff" Bagwell. "Buff" Bagwell stated that the audience had seen him on the television many time; however, John Steele had never been on television.

Losers Eats Dog Food Match
Women's Championship
Bambi defeated Peggy Lee Leather

As always these two were very entertaining to watch, a classic women's match. Throughout the match Peggy Lee Leather tried to cheat her way to victory, but the crowd refused to let her get away with it. After the match Peggy Lee Leather stated the stipulation was that if Bambi lost she had to eat dog food, and that just because she lost, she wasn't eating anything. Tired of talking, Bambi lay-ed out Peggy Lee Leather and promptly forced her to eat the can of dog food.

Jeff Styles instructed the audience members who would be the lumberjacks the rules of the contest. They aren't allowed the strap the wrestlers until the opening bell, only allowed to strap the wrestlers below the waistline, must strap all four wrestlers once both feet touch the floor, and aren't allowed to strap after the closing bell.

Lumberjack Strap Match

The Posse defeated Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor
Chris Rocker & Neil Taylor both came to the ring with towels shoved down the back of their tights, infuriating the crowd. Everything Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor hit the floor, they ran the ring side in a desperate attempt to get away from the lumberjacks. The lumberjacks also strapped The Posse, though not as hard as Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor.

Jeff Styles announced that Southeastern Championship Wrestling will be putting on a show September 15th in Florance, Alabama at the Florance Coliseum. I hope to have more information soon.

"Buff" Bagwell defeated John Steele with "Hollywood" Jimmy
After a tough back and forth contest "Buff" Bagwell picked up the victory, much to the dismay of "Hollywood" Jimmy.

Once again, Southeastern Championship Wrestling put on a great show. I urge any wrestling fan in the area to come out and see Southeastern Championship Wrestling and the likes of Reno Diamond, The Posse, John Steele...and many more, you never know why will appear at the next show.

WCCW Results... Beefcake Instead of Valentine!
09-07-07

WCCW: Chaos at Crystal Beach
Ridgeway
Crystal Beach Community Center
Attendance 80+
Ring Announcer: Joey the Bruiser
Referees: Bruce Davis, Al Scott

The show opened with WCCW CEO Schwartz welcoming fans and stating he had an announcement to make regarding advertised star Greg Valentine that involved “good news & bad news.” Swartz was interrupted by the arrival of Club Carnage; Blackjack Phoenix, Lance Malibu, Quinson Valentino and manager Xavier Sterling.

Blackjack grabbed the North American Heavyweight Championship belt from Schwartz and put it on claiming he was the champ. Schwartz informed fans that Phoenix was indeed the new champion by default because Greg Valentine was “injured in training” and unable to defend the belt at the show.

Club Carnage celebrated Blackjack’s “win” but Schwartz cut the party short by telling them that Valentine had sent a replacement and Phoenix would have to defend the title against him. Fans erupted in cheers when Brutus the Barber Beefcake made his way to the ring. Phoenix & company bailed while Beefcake promised to “kick some ass.”

1) “The Italian Bull” Dino Szili & Pascali Szili w/ Xavier Sterling def Eric Alexander & Cousin Cletus.
Quinson Valentino & Lance Malibu came to ringside late in the match and lured Cousin Cletus to the back with a bag of McDonalds take-out, leaving Alexander to take the fall against the Szili clan.

2) “Retro” Rex Atkins def Rip Impact
Atkins was announced as being from “right here in Ridgeway” while Impact was from Quebec. A good sporting match that began and ended with a handshake.

3) Handicap Match:
The Unholy Ryot w/ Damian def Shawn McMillan & I B Green
After the match some guy ran to the ring and attacked Ryot. He started showboating to fans which gave the Unholy One time to rise and nail him with a chokeslam. (Apparently, the guy’s name was Dillon Duncan or something like that.)

4) Canadian Junior Heavyweight Cup Semi-Final Match:
Jimmy Jam Olsen def Chris Sabin
Match of the Night! Simply awesome stuff from both guys.

5) Crystal Ridge Tornado Tag Match:
Brodie Lee & Quinson Valentino def Chris Laplante & Lance Malibu
This match was supposed to be Lance Malibu & Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling vs Brodie Lee & Chris Laplante with the winning team having to immediately wrestle each other in a #1 Contender Match but CEO Schwartz came to the ring & said he had the power to make the things more interesting. He switched up the teams, pairing Laplante with Malibu & Brodie Lee with Valentino. No one but the fans seemed happy about the change. Malibu basically sold his “partner” Laplante down the river giving Valentino & Brodie the win.

6) #1 Contender to North American Heavyweight Title:
Brodie Lee def Quinson Valentino w/ Xavier Sterling

7) North American Heavyweight Championship Match:
Blackjack Phoenix w/ Xavier Sterling def Brutus the Barber Beefcake by DQ to retain the title.
The ref got squashed late in the match and Phoenix pulled out a foreign object. Beefcake took it away from him but the Xavier roused the official in time to see him with it. Beefcake was disqualified immediately so he nailed Blackjack with the object anyway. Both Phoenix and Sterling got a trim from the Barber. (By the way, Beefcake looked great and wrestled a good match.)
