Source: WRESTLEVIEW.COM

Southeastern Championship Wrestling
Result 9/7/2007

Reno Diamond defeated Blalock The Blazer.

John Steele defeated Jack Lord.

Bambi defeated Peggy Lee Leather.
The match was announced as a Women's Championship Match; however, before the match got under way, Peggy Lee Leather stated she didn't agree to a title match, and the championship wasn't on the line. Bambi went on to challenge for the Women's Championship tomorrow night. Peggy Lee Leather accepted on the stipulation that if Bambi loses she'll be forced to eat dog food in the center of the ring.

SCW Heavyweight Champion "Playboy" Pat Pantera was escorted to the ring by "Hollywood" Jimmy. "Playboy" Pat Pantera made some comments about "Buff" Bagwell being the reason that WCW went out of business, and that if "Buff" Bagwell was under contract to WWE he would be one of the many on the suspension list for illegal prescriptions. This, of course, brought out "Buff" Bagwell. Who gathered all the kids in the arena around him. After stating "we can do this right now" "Buff" Bagwell sent the kids in the ring after "Playboy" Pat Pantera, who made a quick exit.

During intermission, "Buff" Bagwell posed for pictures and gave a speech about not forgetting where you came from and being honored to be asked for autographs, and never turning one down.

Fire & Flame with "Hollywood" Jimmy defeated Bob "Bullet" Armstrong & Brad Armstrong
The match ended when "Hollywood" struck Bob "Bullet" Armstrong in the back with a cane allowing the pin-fall. This lead Bob "Bullet" Armstrong to challenge Fire & Flame to a No Disqualification Match tomorrow night, where he promises to embarrass "Hollywood" Jimmy.

"The Exotic" Adrian Street with Miss Linda defeated Bull Buchanan.

Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor defeated The Posse.
The match ended in a Double Disqualification when the referee lost control and members of both teams attacked the referee. The Posse challenged Chris Rocker/Neil Taylor to a Lumberjack Strap Match tomorrow night. What makes this match interesting is that it's the fans that will be the lumberjacks. Apparently everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to purchases belts during tomorrow night's show.

SCW Heavyweight Champion "Playboy" Pat Pantera with "Hollywood" Jimmy
defeated "Buff" Bagwell.
The match ended when "Hollywood" Jimmy struck "Buff" Bagwell in the back with a cane, leading to the pin-fall. This lead to a double team on "Buff" Bagwell, until John Steele made the save, only to turn on "Buff" Bagwell leading to a triple team. This set up tomorrow night's main event of "Buff" Bagwell against John Steele.

Interesting note...my cousin Stephanie was asked how to get to Bower's Park, where the show was taking place by none other than "The Exotic" Adrian Street.

With an asking price of $10 per ticket, Southeastern Championship Wrestling put on a show that was well worth the price of admission. Reno Diamond is a youngster with the talent and charisma to put on a great show. John Steele, is a great showman, and knows his role as a towering powerhouse. Peggy Lee Leather versus Bambi has been a stable of small time Southern wrestling for as long as I can remember, and these two are still just as entertaining and exciting to watch as when I first saw them. Fire & Flame did a good job of drawing heat from the crowd. By then end of the night the crowd hated "Hollywood" Jimmy, and for good reason. "The Exotic" Adrian Street and Bull Buchanan match was one of the best of the card, with both on top of their game this evening. The Posse (Simon Reed/Lil' Chris) proved to be a great tag team, who the crowd loved instantly. Their gimmick is a cross between heavy metal and skateboarders. It shows that they've really put some thought and effort into themselves. They worked well together, and these two can only get better. I would suggest that anyone running a small show in the Southern area look into booking these two for all future shows. There were two announcers, but I can only remember the name of one, Jeff Styles. Both announcers did a great job of announcing the show and hyping tomorrow night as well as the wrestlers appearing.

If Southeastern Championship Wrestling appears near you, buy a ticket, the price won't set you back, and you can rest assured you'll get your money's worth.

Bryan Logan defeated Brian Miloanas in front of Logan's hometown crowd at Lowell, MA's Polish American Veterans Club to win the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. A full rundown of the show results will be forthcoming.
